RRB NTPC 2019 Exam Date Update

RRB Recruitment 2019 –  We are all eagerly waiting for RRB NTPC 2019 Exam Date Update. Amidst the media reports from different news portals that the RRB NTPC exam admit card will be released anytime during this week, but a senior official from the board has clarified that the RRB has not yet decided the dates of the examination.

the official notification for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019 was released on February 28, 2019. While the online application process ended on March 31, 2019.

And the Phase 1, Computer Based Test was scheduled between June to September. However, the RRB has neither announced the exam dates nor released the admit cards.

Reasons for the delay-

  1. RRB is reportedly busy in conducting other recruitment exams like RRB junior engineer (JE), RRB ALP Technician, RRB Paramedical Staff and therefore there might be further delay in the announcement of examination dates of RRB NTPC.
  2. the scrutiny of application of RRB NTPC is still on and the board is busy in conducting other exams.

So as per the reports from different news portal, we can conclude that it may go upto the End of October for the official declaration of exam dates as well as admit card release.

Preliminary Examination

The structure of the Preliminary Examination (objective type) which will be conducted online is as follows:

 Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.

Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Main examination may subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Nodal Bank. The intimation will be sent by email and sms to the registered email ID and mobile number. Interviews will be conducted at selected centers.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview is 40% for General and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. The weightage (ratio) of the Main examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates will be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination and Interview.

All candidates called for the Interview should produce originals of all prescribed documents mentioned in the call letter. Those candidates who fail to produce prescribed originals of documents will not be allowed to participate in the interview. The Bank takes no responsibility to receive/ collect any certificate/remittance/ document sent separately.

Selection Procedure-

Selection will be through Online Computer Based Test followed by Certificate Verification and Medical Examination ofthe provisionally selected candidates.

Test Pattern:- Test will consist two segments and duration of the test will be 2 hours:-

Segment-I:75 Questions pertaining to General Aptitude (i.e Arithmetic, Reasoning, Data interpretation etc.), General Awareness/ General Knowledge and knowledge of English,

Segment-II:75 Questions pertaining to respective technical subject.

TRAINING &STIPEND:-

Candidates selected for the post will be required to undergo training for a period of twenty four (24) months. During training period, candidates with ITI qualification have to undergo one year Skill Development Course with certification from National Skill Development Corporation, which may be extended for cases where progress during training is found not satisfactory.

During Training, candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.10,700/-(consolidated) during the first year and a monthly stipend of Rs.12,200/-(consolidated) during the remaining period of training.

On satisfactory completion of training, Junior Trainees will be considered for appointment on probation to regular post i.e. Technician, subject to availability of vacancies in any Operation / Maintenance / Service / Mines area and OCM(Trainees) will be considered for appointment on probation to regular post i.e., Operator cum Mechanic, subject to availability of vacancies with a minimum Basic Pay of Rs.16,800 in the pay scale(Pre-revised)of Rs.16,800-3%-24,110/-(S-3 Grade).

Salary/ Emoluments-

CTC shall be Rs.5.10Lakhs per annum (approximately) for S-3 Grade. CTC includes Pay and Industrial Dearness Allowance, Special Allowance @ 6%, Conveyance Allowance, Annual Performance Reward, LTC/LTA, Leave and Encashment of Earned Leave, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity etc. It may be noted that the retirement benefits like CPF, Gratuity, Pension etc., are payable only on separation (resignation / termination not included) of the employee from the services of the Company.

In addition to the above, the Company offers free medical treatment for self, family and dependent parents. Candidates would be allotted company’s accommodation subject to its availability and no HRA would be allowed, if they do not occupy the allotted Company’s accommodation.
