Desirable: The candidate should possess National Certificate of Vocational Training from a recognized institute or a license authorizing him to handle refrigerators / A/Cs and installation, repairs, maintenance and commissioning of various types of refrigerators and A/Cs used in ships and off shores in a reputed shipbuilding industry or equivalent.

  1. ELECTRICAL MECHANIC – 02 VACANCIES

Essential Qualification & Experience: The applicant should possess SSC with ITI in Electrical trade and 02 years experience as Electrician in Electrical projects/maintenance.

Desirable: Candidate should be trained in Electrical trades from a recognized institute and should possess a National certificate of Vocational training or a license authorizing him to handle electrical equipment/installations. Selection Procedure for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020-

The selection process will have two stages.

(i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type) for the screening & selection of candidates for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination; and

(ii) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates against the vacancies identified and reported for the Indian Forest Service Examination.

  1. The preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects set out in sub-section (A) of Section II. This examination is meant to serve as a screening test only; the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit. The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Examination will be about twelve to thirteen times the total approximate number of vacancies to be filled in the year through this examination. Only those candidates who are declared by the Commission to have qualified in the Preliminary Examination in the year will be eligible for admission to the Main Examination of that year provided they are otherwise eligible for admission, to the Main Examination.
  2. The Main Examination will consist of written examination and an interview test. The written examination will consist of 9 papers of conventional essay type in the subjects set out in sub-section Candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in the written part of the Main Examination as may be fixed by the Commission at their discretion, shall be summoned by them for an interview for a Personality Test vide sub-section ‘C’ of Section II. The number of candidates to be summoned for interview will be about twice the number of vacancies to be filled. The interview will carry 275 marks (with no minimum qualifying marks). Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (written part as well as interview) would determine their final ranking.

Selection Procedure for Powergrid Executive Trainee Post-

The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2020, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

Eligible candidates will have to appear for the corresponding paper of GATE 2020, i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE)

Candidates qualified in corresponding paper of GATE 2020 shall only be eligible to be considered for the next stage of selection. Qualifying marks in GATE 2020 shall be as decided by GATE 2020 conducting authority.

Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2020, in the corresponding paper.

Candidates shall obtain information about their status through their login at the POWERGRID Online Application System. Shortlisted candidates shall be able to download their interview call letter and other relevant documents through the candidate login.

On regularization, the Compensation package includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowance as per cafeteria approach, Performance Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation / Company Quarters or HRA, Reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, mobile facility, PF, Gratuity, Pension & Leave encashment, Group Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance etc.

 

Service Agreement Bond-

The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond to successfully complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years. The amount of the bond is INR 5,00,000/- plus applicable taxes for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and INR 2,50,000/- plus applicable taxes for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
