SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2020 Notification is announced..!!  Staff Selection Commission has invited application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Stenographer in Grade C & Grade D.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2020:-

Age limit –  

Stenographer (Grade C) – 18 to 30 years

Stenographer ( Grade D) -.18 to 27 years

Age relaxation for SC/ST 5 Years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3  Years, PWD 10 Years, Ex-Servicemen 5 Years.

Educational Qualification – 

Candidate should have passed 12^th / HSC or equivalent exam from recognised board or university

Selection Procedure for SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2020-

Selection process consists of 2 phases as follows

Phase I – Computer Based Test

The exam will be conducted between 29^th March 2021 to 31^st March 2021.

The structure of the Paper I(objective type) which will be conducted online is as follows:

There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer .

 

Phase II – Skill Test of Stenography

Candidates will be shortlisted for skill test on the basis of their score in Computer Based Test. Candidate will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi ( As opted by candidate in the application ) at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for Grade C and 80 w.p.m. for Grade D. The matter will have to transcribed on computer. The time duration is as follows.
