ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2019

ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2019 is out..!! Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, has invited applications from eligible candidates before 1st January 2020. Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruananthpuram, which is a part of ISRO, Indian Space Research Organization working under the Government of India, Department of Space has requirement for 63 vacancies.

Post :-  Technical Assistant / Scientific Assistant / Library Assistant

Total No of Vacancies :- 63

 

Eligibility :-

Age Limit :-

18 to 35 years

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates will be there.

Age relaxation for PWD / Ex-servicemen as per government guidelines.

Educational Qualification :-

  1. Technical Assistant– First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/Chemical Engineering / Computer Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Cinematography or Photography
  2. Scientific Assistant– First Class B.Sc. degree in Physics or Mathematics or Chemistry
  3. Library Assistant– First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science or equivalent

Selection Procedure-

Selection process consists of written test and skill test. Written test will be conducted first and candidates will be shortlisted further on the basis of their scores in written test for the further Skill test.

Written test will be conducted to test both theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate.

Skill test will be qualifying in nature, and candidate will be required to score minimum 60% on a scale of 100.

The final selection will be done purely on the basis of scores obtained in the written test.

 

Salary/ Emoluments-

Monthly salary will be approximately Rs.59000/-Per Month including all the government allowances.

Selection Procedure-

The mode of selection will be Written Test and Skill Test. There will be an initial screening, based on the academic performance and other parameters given in the on-line application and only those screened-in candidates will be called for Written Test. The written test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum. Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for Skill Test, depending on the number of vacancies notified.

Salary/ Emoluments-

Monthly salary will be approximately Rs.25,389 per month including all different government allowances as per norms.
