Indian Army Recruitment 2021 notification is out for  NCC Special Entry ..!! Applications are invited from UNMARRIED male and female (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel), for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.

Total No of Vacancies :- 55 ( 50 Men & 5 Women )

Eligibility for Indian Army NCC Special Entry-

Age Limit :-

19 to 25 Years

Educational Qualification :-

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders –

  1. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree course respectively. Such students will need to secure overall aggregate of minimum 50% marks in degree course if selected in interview, failing which their candidature will be CANCELLED
  2. Service in NCC – Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/Wing of NCC.
  • Grading.- Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’Grade in ‘C’Certificate Exam of NCC.

For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel-

  1. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
  2. NCC ‘C’ certificate NOT required for Wards of Battle Casualties.

Indian Army Recruitment 2020

Indian Army Recruitment 2020 is out..!! Applications are invited from eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and also from Widows of Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. Course will commence in Oct 2020 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility :-

Age Limit for Indian Army Recruitment :-

(i) For SSC(Tech)- 55 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 26 Women. 20 to 27 years as on 01 Oct 2020 (Candidates born between 02 Oct 93 and 01 Oct 2000, both days inclusive).

(ii) For widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only. SSCW (Non Tech) [Non UPSC] and SSCW(Tech) – A maximum of 35 years of age as on 01 Oct 2020.

 

Educational Qualification for Indian Army Recruitment:-

Educational Qualification for SSC(Tech)(Men and Women). Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing by 01 Oct 2020 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Such candidates will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA) as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid.

Educational Qualification for Widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness

(i) SSCW (Non Tech) (Non UPSC). Graduation in any Discipline.

(ii) SSCW (Tech). B.E./ B. Tech in any Engineering stream.

Selection Procedure for Indian Army Recruitment–

The selection procedure is as follows:-

(a) Shortlisting of Applications. Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cutoff percentage of marks for each Engineering discipline/stream (cumulatively obtained upto 6th semester for Engg Degree course/ 2nd semester for M Sc. Computer Science/ 8th semester for Architecture) without assigning any reason. After shortlisting of applications, the centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their email. After allotment of Selection Centre, candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first come first serve basis initially. Thereafter, it will be allotted by the Selection Centres.

(b) Only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cut off percentage will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres viz. Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer. Call Up letter for SSB interview will be issued by respective Selection Centres through candidate’s registered e-mail id and SMS only. Allotment of Selection Centre is at the discretion of Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of MoD (Army) and NO request for changes will be entertained in this regard.

(c) Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage-1 will go to Stage-2. Those who fail in Stage-1 will be returned on the same day. Duration of SSB interviews is five days, and details of the same are available on official website of Directorate General of Recruiting ie. www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. This will be followed by a medical examination for the candidates who get recommended after Stage-2.

(d) Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be issued Joining Letter for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

Salary/ Emoluments for Indian Army Recruitment–

Stipend to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service academy i.e. during training period at OTA will be Rs 56,100/-p.m.* (Starting pay in Level 10). On successful commissioning, the pay in the Pay Matrix of the Officer Commissioned shall be fixed in first Cell of Level 10 , along with all different government allowances as per norms.

Educational Qualification :-

Candidate must have passed in the first attempt, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 Years schooling) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany &Zoology) and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a Statutory / Recognized Board /University/ Examination Body. Candidates who will be appearing for final year of qualifying examination during the current academic session may also apply provisionally.

Physical standards :-

Medical fitness will be determined as per standards applicable for Commission in the Armed Forces as amended from time to time. X-Ray examination of Chest and USG (of abdomen & pelvis) will be done. Minimum height required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Gorkhas and candidates belonging to North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm. Selection Procedure-

Eligible applicants will be called for an objective type Online Computer Based Examination of 90 minutes duration likely to be held in Apr 2020, covering General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. On the basis of merit of Online Computer Based Examination, candidates will be called for interview during May2020. Final selection will be based on the combined merit of Online Computer Based Examination& Interview, subject to medical fitness of the candidate, choice & vacancy in each College.

Interview & Medical Examination:-

Merit listed candidates of Online Computer Based Examination will appear for interview & medical examination at selected centres. Candidates declared FIT/UNFIT in medical examination will be informed about their medical status, including the procedure of requesting for APPEAL/REVIEW MEDICAL BOARD by the President of the Selection Medical Board(SMB)

Service Terms and Bond-

The selected candidates shall execute an Agreement/Bond to serve in the Military Nursing Service. On successful completion of nursing training (4years), the candidates will be granted Permanent/Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service, under the terms and conditions laid down for grant of such commission. They shall have to refund the Bond money as per the Bond executed in the event of withdrawal from the Course, termination of training or refusal to accept Commission in the MNS, if offered.

 Stipend-

During training they will be provided with free ration, accommodation, uniform allowance and monthly stipend as per terms and conditions as amended from time to time.

Applications are invited from eligible female candidates for recruitment of 100 Soldier General Duty (Women Military Police) in Indian Army. Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 25 Apr 2019 to 08 Jun 2019. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card. Recruitment rallies are planned to be conducted at Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Belgaum and Shillong.  Candidates will be allotted venue based on their home districts. Selection Process-

Physical Fitness Test ( At Rally Site )

(a)1.6 Km Run

(i)Upto 7 Min 30 Sec-Group -I

(ii)Upto 8 Min-Group -II

(b)Long Jump 10 Feet-Need to qualify

(c)High Jump 3 Feet-Need to qualify

 

Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).

(a)Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Location, Date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards.

(b)Admit card for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issued after declaring medically fit by concerned specialists at Military Hospital/Base Hospital/ Command Hospitals.

(c)Negative marking would be applicable in CEE.

(d)Result of written examination will be declared on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check his result and report to ARO for documentation.
