BSF Recruitment Notification 2020 is out …!! Directorate General Border Security Force, New Delhi has released the 317 Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ Combatised posts for SI and HC in Water Wing. Eligibility for BSF Recruitment 2020 :-

Age Limit :-

20 to 28 years

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC, and of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Educational Qualification :-

  1. SI (Master)-10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University
  2. SI(Engine  Driver)-10+2 or its equivalent
  3. SI (Workshop)-Bachelor Degree in Mechanical
  4. HC (Master)-Matriculation from a recognized board
  5. HC (Engine Driver)-Matriculation from a recognized board
  6. HC Workshop-Matriculation from a recognized Board, Industrial Training Institute Diploma in respective trade (i.e. Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) Machinist/Carpentry/Electrician/Air conditioner Technician/Electronics and Plumbing) from a recognized Institution.
  7. CT (Crew)-Matriculation from a recognized board.

Selection Procedure for BSF Recruitment 2020-

Selection Process includes Phase I & Phase II.

Phase I is written examination, while Phase II includes Document Verification, Physical Efficiency Test, Skill & Trade Test & Medical Examination.

 

Salary/ Emoluments for BSF Recruitment 2020-

  • SI – Rs. 35,400/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-
  • HC – Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/-
  • Crew – Rs. 21,700/- to Rs. 69,100/

along with all different government allowances as per norms.

Online applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens ( Males & Females) for filling up vacancies for the no gazetted & non ministerial posts of Head Constable ( Radio Mechanic) & Head Constable ( Radio Operator ) on temporary basis, likely to be made permanent in Border Security Forces ( Communication Set-Up). The selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India.

18 to 25 years

Selection Process-

Selection Process consists of 3 phases

  • Phase I – It will be OMR based multiple choice questions test, scheduled on 28th July 2019. The test will be of 100 questions , 200 marks with a duration of 3 hours.

Every question is of 2 marks, and there is a penalty of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The test consists of mainly 4 sections-

  1. Physics
  2. Chemistry
  3. Mathematics
  4. English & GK.
  • Phase II – it will be Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test ( PST/PET)

Candidates successfully clearing phase I , will be called for PST/PET along with their documents for document verification as well. For the details of PET please check the official notification

  • Phase III- Candidates successfully cleared PST/PET along with document verification will be called for Written Test. It consists of two parts.
  1. Descriptive Test- It is a test of 150 marks covering Physics, Chemistry , Maths , Logical Reasoning & English with a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.
  2. Dictation Test – It is a test of minimum 100 words ( English writing) & 50 marks.

 

Salary/Emoluments –

The basic pay is Rs.25,500 per month, all the different allowances like dearness allowance, HRA, Travel etc will be given separately as per central government norms & 7th Pay commission.

BSF, Border Security Force has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of constable for the year 2019.

Post – Constable ( Tradesman – Cobbler/tailor/carpenter/cook/water carrier/washerman/waiter/barber/sweeper)

Eligibility – 

Age Limit – 18 to 23 years

(Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates )

Educational Qualification –

10th + two years work exeperience in relevant trade

or

10th + one year certificate course + one year experience in relevant trade

or

10th + 2 years diploma course in relevant trade

Selection Process- 

(A) First Phase –

(1) Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test ( PET)-

Candidates will be tested for physical standards of height and weight, and after that they have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test.

PET for Males- 5 km race to be completed within 24 minutes

PET for Females- 1.6 km race to be completed in 8.30 minutes

(2) Trade Test-

Candidate has to appear for one trade test only. It will be a skill test for relevant trades like carpenter, cobbler, cook, etc

(B) Second Phase-

Second phase of examination includes written test of 100 marks and 2 hours.

the test will be conducted offline ( pen and paper test) on OMR and it will be multiple choice questions. The test will be based on General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude etc.

(C)Third Phase –

It will be detailed medical examination, before the final allotment.

 

Salary and Emoluments-

The basic salary will be Rs.21700 and as per the 7th Pay CPC there will other allowances apart from the salary.
