RBI Grade B Officer Recruitment Notification 2019 is declared for recruitment of 156 vacancies of Grade B – General posts. Applications are invited from eligible candidates before 11th October 2019. The recruitment details are as follows.
Post:- Grade ‘B’ Officer- General
No of vacancies :- 156
Eligibility Criteria :-
Age Limit :- Minimum 21 Years , Maximum 30 Years
Age relaxation As follows:- OBC 3 Years, SC/ST 5 Years. Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen and PWD candidates will be as per government norms
Educational Qualification –
A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations.

Phase 1 exam – 9th November 2019
Phase II exam – 1st December 2019

Selection Procedure-
Selection for the aforementioned posts will be done through ONLINE examinations in Phase – I and Phase – II and interview.
1) Phase-I online Examination (Objective Type):
This will comprise a single Paper for 200 marks. A composite time of 120 minutes will be given for answering. The Paper will consist tests of
- General Awareness
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning .
Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in Phase-I..

There will be negative marking of 1/4th Or 0.25 for each wrong answer in Prelims and Mains.
Interview :
Interview will be of 50 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III). Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview.
