A very Happy Diwali to you all. Here is the new opportunity again for you by RBI. RBI notification is out today for the post of Assistant on the official RBI Website. The details are as follows
Application Details-
Eligibility – Any Graduation / bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% ( Pass class for SC/ST and Physically Handicapped)
Age limit – 20 to 28 years ( for General Category)
20 to 31 years ( for OBC )
20 to 33 years ( for SC/ST )
No of Vacancies – 623

Application Starts on – 18th October 2017
Last date of application – 10th November 2017
Please keep following things ready while filling up the form
- Passport photograph scan– Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
- Size of file should be between 20kb–50kb
- Signature Scan– Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
- Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb.
Selection Procedure-
PHASE I – Preliminary Exam
Exam will take place tentatively on 27th /28th November 2017 (Tentative)

Negative Marking – 1/4th or 0.25 marks
There will be sectional cut offs and overall cutoffs , so scoring high in one or two particular sections will not be enough. You need to perform well in every section at least till the cut off level.
Preliminary exam is just elimination round to get selected further for mains. Only the people who clear Pre exam round will get shortlisted for the next round of mains exam. The list of shortlisted candidate will be available on the website, and only these candidates will get the call letter/admit card for the mains.
Scores obtained in preliminary exam will not be counted further.

PHASE II – Mains Examination
The mains exam format is unchanged, and it is exactly similar to what it was last year.
Exam will be conducted on 20th December 2017

Language Proficiency Test ( LPT)- Candidates provisionally shortlisted after mains examination, need to undergo Language Proficiency Test, and of the Respective State’s Official/Local Language, And they must qualify in LPT to be considered for final Selection.
Final Selection and Merit List will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Mains Examination & LPT.
