Selection Process –

  1. Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on written test and personal interview. The written Test will be of ninety minutes duration & would carry a weightage of 85%. The maximum weightage for interview will be 15%.
  2. The candidates will have to qualify successfully through each stage of the selection process i.e. Written Test and Personal Interview (Minimum 40%, relaxable by 5% for candidates from SC/ST/PwBD Categories against reserved positions) and Pre-employment medical fitness for being adjudged suitable for engagement.
  3.  Candidates are advised to ensure that they are medically fit as per IndianOil’s pre-employment medical standard. The Civil Services Examination will consist of two successive stages

  • Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Main Examination; and

Selection Process- 

(A) First Phase –

(1) Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test ( PET)-

Candidates will be tested for physical standards of height and weight, and after that they have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test.

PET for Males- 5 km race to be completed within 24 minutes

PET for Females- 1.6 km race to be completed in 8.30 minutes

(2) Trade Test-

Candidate has to appear for one trade test only. It will be a skill test for relevant trades like carpenter, cobbler, cook, etc

(B) Second Phase-

Second phase of examination includes written test of 100 marks and 2 hours.

the test will be conducted offline ( pen and paper test) on OMR and it will be multiple choice questions. The test will be based on General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude etc.

(C)Third Phase –

It will be detailed medical examination, before the final allotment.

 

Salary and Emoluments-

The basic salary will be Rs.21700 and as per the 7th Pay CPC there will other allowances apart from the salary.
