How to Apply-

Interested candidates are first required to register in the web portal http://apprenticeship.gov.in for enrolment as apprentices. The applications will not be accepted without registration in the above mentioned web portal.

Those who have enrolled for apprenticeship in the web portal http://apprenticeship.gov.in, have to apply for the respective trade through the Establishment Registration No. E06172702965, the establishment id for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, Tarapur Maharashtra Site. The applications will not be accepted, if not applied in the Establishment ID.

The following documents/certificates are required to be uploaded along with the online application for short listing for engagement of apprenticeship training.

  1. a) Upload Photo and Signature.
  2. b) Upload Aadhar Card
  3. c) Upload ITI Passed marksheets of all Semesters (To be scanned in vertical mode in one PDF file and upload)
  4. d) Upload Certificate – SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD (if applicable)

 

Stipend during Apprenticeship

(a) 90% of the minimum wage for semi-skilled worker notified by the Govt,. of Maharashtra, if he/she had undergone 2 years ITI training course.

(b) 80% of the minimum wage for semi-skilled worker by the Govt. of Maharashtra, if he/she had undergone 1 year ITI training course.

 

Duration of Apprenticeship Training

The period of Apprentice training will be for one year only

Selection process is divided in three phases as below –

PHASE I – Preliminary Exam

Exam will take place tentatively on 14th / 15th February 2020 (Tentative)

Negative Marking – 1/4th or 0.25 marks

Preliminary exam is just elimination round to get selected further for mains. Only the people who clear Pre exam round will get shortlisted for the next round of mains exam. The list of shortlisted candidate will be available on the website, and only these candidates will get the call letter/admit card for the mains.

Scores obtained in preliminary exam will not be counted further.

PHASE II – Mains Examination

The mains exam format is unchanged, and it is exactly similar to what it was last year.

Candidates provisionally shortlisted after mains examination, need to undergo Language Proficiency Test, and of the Respective State’s Official/Local Language, And they must qualify in LPT to be considered for final Selection.

Final Selection and Merit List will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Mains Examination.

Salary/ Emoluments-

Basic Pay Rs.14650/- per month, Initial gross salary is approximately Rs.36091 per month along with all different government allowances as per norms.

  2. Total marks of the online test will be 200. There will be no negative marking for Online examination.The duration of the examination is 02 hour.

Selection to the posts of Jr. Office Assistant, Jr. Bullion Assistant at B-3 Level and Secretarial Assistant at B-4 Level will be done in 02 phases:

a) For of Office Assistant, Jr. Bullion Assistant at B-3 Level, English/Hindi typing (English @ 40 wpm /Hindi @30 wpm) test will be conducted. Those candidates who qualify in English/Hindi Typing Test (English @ 40 wpm/Hindi @30 wpm) on Computer will be called for online Written Test.

b) For Secretarial Assistant at B-4 Level, stenography/shorthand (English) @80 wpm and English typing @ 40 wpm. will be conducted. Those candidates who qualify in stenography/shorthand (English) @80 wpm and English typing @ 40 wpm on Computer will be called for online Written Test.

The Objective type Online examination will consists of tests on Logical Reasoning, General awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.Total marks of the online test will be 200. There will be no negative marking for online examination. The duration of the examination is 120 minutes.

 

Salary/ Emoluments-

Monthly salary will be in the range of Rs. 20000- 100000/-Per Month depending on the post you are applying for along with all different government allowances as per norms.
