Western Railway invites ONLINE applications from interested Applicants for engagement as Act Apprentices against the 3553 slots notified for training in the designated Trades under Apprentice Act 1961 at various Divisions, Workshops within the jurisdiction of Western Railways for the year 2018-19.

Eligibility Criteria –
- Age limit –
15 to 24 years of age for General
15 to 27 years for OBC
15 to 29 years for SC/ST
Persons with Disability(PWD):-Upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years
Ex-servicemen-Upper age limit relaxation upto additional 10 years
- Educational Qualification –
Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board
Technical Qualification – ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is compulsory in relevant trade as under-
Fitter / welder/turner/ achinist/painter/plumber/carpenter/wireman/mechanic/electrician/ Draughtman etc.

Selection Process–
There is no written exam or viva.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10th and marks obtained in ITI relevant trade. 50% weightage is allotted to both 10th and ITI marks.
