SBI Clerical Recruitment 2025 notification is out..!! Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only. The recruitment details are as below.

Educational Qualification –

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

 Age limit –

20 to 28 years ( for General Category)
20 to 31 years ( for OBC )
20 to 33 years  ( for SC/ST )

Age relaxation for PWD and Ex-servicemen candidates will be as per government norms.

Selection Procedure for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2025-

PHASE I – Preliminary Exam

Prepare for Banking and Insurance Exam for Just Rs.1499

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject as well as for aggregate (overall) are prescribed. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies. subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.

Scores obtained in preliminary exam will not be counted further.

PHASE II – Mains Examination

Test of specified opted local language:-

The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State (mentioned in the under given vacancy table against each state/UT). The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify the language test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

 

Salary/Emoluments for SBI Clerical Recruitment 2025- 

The starting Basic Pay is Rs. 26730. The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.46,000/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associate.

SBI CBO Recruitment 2025

SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 notification is out..!! SBI invite applications for the recruitment of Circle Based Officers all over India. The candidate will have to apply for vacancy of one State only. A candidate applying against vacancy of one State will not be eligible to apply against vacancy of any other State.

Eligibility for SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 :-

A. Age Limit :- 

21 to 30 years

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Age relaxation for PWD or ex-servicemen candidates will be as per government norms.

B. Educational Qualification :- 

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

C. Experience:-

Minimum 2 years’ experience  as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank.

D. Local Language:-

Selection Procedure for SBI CBO Recruitment 2025-

The selection process consists of Online Written Test, Screening and Interview.
Online Written Test:
Online written test will consist of Objective Tests for 120 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
(i) Objective Test: The duration of objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of total 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks. Merit list will be drawn State wise and Category wise on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Online Written Test. There will be no sectional qualifying marks. Candidates
numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the State wise and Category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for Screening from the top of the merit list drawn on State wise and Category wise subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as decided by the Bank.
Penalty for Wrong Answers: There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. Sectional Marks will not be maintained for Online Written Examination.
Screening: Online application and documents of candidates, who are shortlisted based on performance in online examination, will be placed before the Screening Committee. The Screening Committee constituted by the Bank will examine whether the candidates fulfil the required eligibility criteria of experience. The Committee will match the job profile submitted by the candidates (certified by their existing/ previous employer(s) with whom they are/were employed) with the job profile of Scale-I Generalist Officer of the State Bank of India. In case their job profile does not match substantially or is different than the job profile of Scale-I Generalist Officer of State Bank of India, then the application of the candidate will be summarily rejected. The decision of the Bank in this regard would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard. The candidates, who fulfil the required experience as decided by the Screening Committee, will be called for  interview.
Interview:
Interview will consist of 50 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in interview to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.

Merit List: Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise.

Final Selection 

The candidates will have to qualify both in Online Written Test and Interview separately. The marks obtained in Online written Test, both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Interview for preparing the final merit list. Final merit list would be prepared based on normalization of marks scored in Online Written Test and Interview with 75:25 weightage respectively.
Marks secured by the candidates in the Online Written test (out of 170 marks) are converted to out of 75 marks and Interview scores of candidates (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25 marks. The final merit list (State wise and category wise) is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of Online Written test and Interview. Selection will be made from the top ranked candidates in merit list prepared on State wise and Category wise.

Salary for SBI CBO Recruitment 2025-

Presently, the starting basic pay is 48,480/- in the scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-
67160-2680/7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments
(For work experience of 2 years or more in officer cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/
Regional Rural Bank). The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, PF,
Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites
as per rules in force from time to time.
