SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020 notification is out..!! Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment of apprentices. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only. The recruitment details are as below.

Eligibility Criteria for SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020:-

Educational Qualification ( as on 31^st October 2020) –

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

 Age limit ( as on 31^st October 2020) –

20 to 28 years ( for General Category)
20 to 31 years ( for OBC )
20 to 33 years  ( for SC/ST )

Age relaxation for PWD  candidates will be as per government norms.

Please keep following things ready while filling up the form

1. Passport photograph scan– Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).

• Size of file should be between 20kb–50kb

1. Signature Scan– Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).

• Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb.

 

Selection Procedure For SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020-

Online written test

Online written test will be conducted tentatively in the month of January 2021.

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject as well as for aggregate (overall) are prescribed. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.

Test of local language:-

The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State (mentioned in the under given vacancy table against each state/UT). The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify the language test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

 

Duration Of Training:

Selected candidates will undergo training for three years only. The selected apprentices should be willing to qualify in the examinations of IIBF (JAIIB/CAIIB) during 3 years apprenticeship engagement in the Bank.

Stipend for SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020:

The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month during 1st year, Rs.16500/- per month during 2nd year and Rs.19000/- per month during 3rd year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
