Post :-Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant

Eligibility for RRB JE Recruitment 2025 –

Age limit – 18 to 33 years

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 years relaxation for SC /ST candidates.

There will be age relaxation for PWD candidates and Ex- Servicemen also.

 

Educational Qualification –

  • Junior Engineers: 3-year Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chemical Supervisor / Research: Degree or equivalent in Chemical Technology from a recognized university/institution, covering any of the following fields: a) Petroleum Products, b) Paints and Corrosion Prevention, c) Polymers. Knowledge of any computer language is essential.
  • Metallurgical Supervisor / Research: Degree or equivalent in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized university/institution. Knowledge of any computer language is essential.

Part B will be 60 minutes with 75 questions and 75 marks

there will be 1/3rd negative marking for each wrong answer.

Phase 3

CBAT – Computer Based Aptitude test will be conducted for the candidates shortlisted on the basis of trheir performance in Phase2.

 

Phase 4

Phase 4 will be of document verification for the selected candidates. Candidates are selected for phase 4 on the basis of their score in Phase 2 ( part A) (70% weightage) and phase 3 (30% weightage).

Syllabus ( Phase – 1) –

1. Mathematics :

Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM and HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.

2.General Intelligence and Reasoning :

Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.

3.General Awareness :

Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General scientific and technological developments etc.

4.General Science :

Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to 10th Standard CBSE syllabus)
