ONGC Apprentice recruitment 2022 is out..!! ONGC has released notification for vacancies of various posts across India.
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), which is India’s flagship energy major and a ‘Maharatna’ Central Public Sector Enterprise engaged in Exploration and Production of Oil & Gas in India and abroad, as a measure of Skill Building initiative for the Nation, proposes to engage apprentices at Uran, Raigad – Maharashtra.
Applications are invited from candidates in the following trades meeting the qualifications mentioned below for engagement as Apprentices under Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended from time to time) in the trade/disciplines mentioned below:
Post – Accountant, Secretarial Assistant , Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Fitter, Welder, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Instrument Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, Wireman, Plumber
No of Vacancies – 64
Eligibility for ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2022-
Age limit –
18 to 28 years
3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates will be there. (Age relaxation for PWD or Ex-servicemen will be there as per government norms)
Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / B.B.A
Trade Apprentices – 1 year ITI
Trade Apprentices – 2 year ITI
Diploma Apprentices- Diploma

Selection Process for ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2022
Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and Merit drawn. In case of a similar number in merit, a person with higher age would be considered. No canvassing or influencing would be acceptable at any time and may render for non-consideration.
Reservation of positions will be followed as per Government of India Policy on SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories, as applicable for the engagement of Apprentices under The Apprentices Act, 1961 as amended.
Stipend for Apprenticeship
I. The apprentices are eligible for monthly stipend as per Apprentices Act, during their period of engagement as follows:
Graduate Apprentice B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / B.B.A – 9,000/-
Trade Apprentices – 1 year ITI – 7,700/-
Trade Apprentices – 2 year ITI- 8,050/-
Diploma Apprentices- Diploma – 8,000/-
Duration of training – 12months
