NPCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2020 is out..!! Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd has released notification for the post of Apprentice for their Tarapur  Atomic Power Station 1 to 4 in Palghar District, Maharashtra. Applications are invited from eligible candidates before 21st January 2020.

NPCIL, a premier Public Sector Enterprise under Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India having comprehensive capability in all facets of Nuclear Technology.

Eligibility :-

Age Limit :-

16 to 24 years

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates will be there.

Age relaxation for PWD as per government guidelines.

Educational Qualification :-

Candidate should have passed ITI in below mentioned trade -Fitter/Turner/Electrician/Welder/Electronics/Instrument Mechanic/Ac & Refrigerator Mechanic/Carpenter/Plumer/Wireman/Diesel Mechanic/Machinist/Painter/Mason/Information & Communication Technology

How to Apply-

Interested candidates are first required to register in the web portal http://apprenticeship.gov.in for enrolment as apprentices. The applications will not be accepted without registration in the above mentioned web portal.

Those who have enrolled for apprenticeship in the web portal http://apprenticeship.gov.in, have to apply for the respective trade through the Establishment Registration No. E06172702965, the establishment id for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, Tarapur Maharashtra Site. The applications will not be accepted, if not applied in the Establishment ID.

The following documents/certificates are required to be uploaded along with the online application for short listing for engagement of apprenticeship training.

  1. a) Upload Photo and Signature.
  2. b) Upload Aadhar Card
  3. c) Upload ITI Passed marksheets of all Semesters (To be scanned in vertical mode in one PDF file and upload)
  4. d) Upload Certificate – SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD (if applicable)

 

Stipend during Apprenticeship

(a) 90% of the minimum wage for semi-skilled worker notified by the Govt,. of Maharashtra, if he/she had undergone 2 years ITI training course.

(b) 80% of the minimum wage for semi-skilled worker by the Govt. of Maharashtra, if he/she had undergone 1 year ITI training course.

 

Duration of Apprenticeship Training

The period of Apprentice training will be for one year only

Post – Dy. Manager in HR/F&A/ C & MM / Jr. Hindi Translator / Legal Manager

Educational Qualification –

Deputy Manager ( HR ) – a) Graduation in any discipline with not less than 60% marks, plus b) Two years full time MBA or equivalent, with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, from IIMs/XLRI/XISS/XIM or MA (Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) from TISS or an equivalent Post Graduate Degree/Diploma from a recognized University/AICTE approved Institute, with not less than 60% marks in Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in aggregate.

Deputy Manager ( F & A) – a) Graduation in any discipline with not less than 60% marks, plus b) CA/ICWA with pass class OR Two years full time MBA or equivalent with specialisation in Finance from a recognised University / AICTE approved Institute, with not less than 60% marks in the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in aggregate

Deputy Manager ( C & MM ) – a) Graduation in Engineering in any of the branches; plus b) Full time MBA preferably in Materials Management/Inventory Control with not less than 60% marks from a recognized University/AICTE approved Institution. Note : Engineering Graduates with Post Graduate qualification as above will be considered for grant of advance increments by Selection Committee, subject to a maximum of 5 increments, based on performance, at the recruitment stage

Deputy Manager ( Legal Manager ) – Full time degree in Law (Professional) with not less than 60% marks in aggregate from a University recognised by the Bar Council of India. Candidate should be registered with the concerned Bar council of the State or Bar Council of India and other statutory bodies. Experience : Should have 3 years post qualification practical experience at Bar and/or in any reputed Organisation as an Officer having adequate exposure to Company/Civil/Labour Laws. Candidates should possess excellent communication and drafting skills and have the capacity and capability to handle and deal with legal problems and cases independently.

Junior Hindi Translator – Master Degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English, with English/Hindi as a main subject at Degree level.

Age limit –

Deputy Manager (HR/F&A/C&MM/Legal)  – Upto 30 years

Junior Hindi Translator – Upto 28 Years

Age  Relaxation for OBC-3 Years SC/ST 5 Years

Selection Procedure –

  1. Online Test-

For the post of Dy. Managers in HR, F&A, C&MM and Legal The online test will have 120 questions to be answered in two hours duration: (Part-I -50 questions & Part-II -70 questions) The online written test consists of two parts viz.

Part- I Management & General Aptitude

English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Management Aptitude & Intellectual Potential, Ethics in Public Service, RTI Act, 2005

Part-II Functional knowledge

consisting of questions relating to relevant professional qualification pertaining to respective cadres.

Each correct answer will carry (01) marks whereas each wrong answer will attract (0.25) marks. No marks will be allotted to un-attempted questions.

 

For Junior Hindi Translator, there will be a test of 50 multiple choice questions be only on Hindi .

 

  1. Interview –

Marks for Personal Interview – 100

Cut off marks for interview – 60% for Unreserved candidates and 50% for Reserved candidates.

Weightage for written/online test and interview marks for empanelment- 50:50 (equal weightage)

 

Salary –

For deputy Manager posts – Approx Rs. 61,000 per month

For Junior Hindi Translator – Approx. Rs.38500 per month

Qualification & Experience:-

Stipendiary Trainee Maintainer:- SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in Science subjects and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in Electronics, Electrician, Machinist/Turner, Fitter and Welder. The trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidate should have at least one year relevant working experience after completion of the course. should have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination

Minimum 18 Years , Maximum 24 years

5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC , 10 Years for PWD Candidate

Selection Procedure-

Stage-1 -Preliminary Test(1 Hour Duration)

Mathematics 20 Questions
Science 20 questions
General Awareness 10 Questions

03 (Three) marks to be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark to be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Stage-2 – Advanced Test. [Test will be of 02 (two) hours duration]

The Test will comprise 50 Multiple choice questions (Choice of four answers) with 03 (Three) marks to be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark to be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The level of questions for Operator Trainees (Category-II), will be based on the syllabus in HSC or ISC.

The level of questions for Category-II Trainees (SSC + ITI) will be based on their respective ITI trade.

Stage- 3 Trade/Skill Test for Stipendiary Trainee Maintainer

Candidates clearing the Skill Test will be shortlisted and empanelled in order of merit based on marks secured in Stage-2. The select list will not exceed the number of vacancies advertised.
