Eligibility for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainee–
Age limit –
upto 27 years
3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 years relaxation for SC /ST candidates.
There will be age relaxation for PWD candidates as per government norms.
Educational Qualification –
B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mining / EXTC minimum 65 % & GATE 2019 application number

Selection Process for NTPC Engineering Recruitment 2021 –
Candidates will be shortlisted for the further selection process on the basis of GATE 2021 score. Final merit list will be prepared on the combined score of GATE ( 85% weightage, GD 5 % weightage & Interview 10% weightage )
Training & Probation-
Training period is of one year and probation period of one year is there after the candidate successfully completes the training.
Salary for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainee-
Basic pay will be Rs.40000 per month during initial one year training period, after that other allowances like HRA, CA etc will be added to the salary.
Service Agreement Bond-
Candidate need to sign the service agreement bond of Rs.500000 to serve the company for a period of 3 years after completion of training of one year.
