Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, NPCIL invites applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Executive Trainee ( Engineer). All eligible candidates need to apply online for the recruitment process on the basis of valid score of GATE 2017/ 18 / 19.

Posts – Executive Trainee ( Engineer)

Number of Vacancies –  200

Eligibility –

Age limit – Upto 26 years

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 years relaxation for SC /ST candidates.

(Age relaxation for PWD or Ex-servicemen will be there as per government norms)

 

Educational Qualification –

BE/Btech with minimum 60% in (Civil / Mechanical / Production / Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / E & T)  + valid GATE 2017 or 2018  or 2019 score

Selection Process –

Candidates will be shortlisted for the round of interview on the basis of their valid GATE scores. Number of candidates shortlisted for interview will be in the ratio of 1 : 12 of vacant posts for different categories.

 

GATE score will not have any weightage further in the selection. Final selection will done only on the basis of score obtained in Interview. List of shortlisted candidate along with a waiting list will be available on NPCIL website later.

The entire selection process will be over by August 2019.

Training & Placement :

  1. The selected candidates will be required to undergo one year orientation training in any of the Training Facilities situated at various locations such as Tarapur Maharashtra Site, Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, Kaiga Karnataka and Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu etc.
  1. Those trainees who complete one year orientation training successfully, will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C and will be liable to be posted at one of the Units/Sites/Upcoming Projects/Offices of NPCIL located in different parts of the country.

 

Salary / Emoluments-

A monthly stipend of Rs.35000, after successful completion of training candidate will be hired and will be given a salary of Rs.56100 of scale 10 along with other allowances and benefits  like TA, HRA etc as per the government norms.

Selection Process

There will be written test tentatively in April 2019. The format will be different for different posts, but it will check the basics of Mathematics and general awareness.

Training period –  it will range from 18 months to 2 years depending on the post

Stipend During Training –

Category I – Rs. 16000 per month in the first year and Rs.18000 in the second year.

Category II – Rs.10500 per month in the first year and Rs.12500 per month in the second year.

Salary / Emoluments–  if the candidates are considered for the permanent posting depending on their performance, they will be given following salary.
