Eligibility for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2025 :-
Age Limit :-
18 to 27 years
Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Age relaxation for ex-servicemen candidates will be as per government norms.
note– Physically Handicapped Candidates cannot apply.
Educational Qualification :-
Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree / Graduation from any recognised university can apply. Knowledge of computers is essential for the post.

Selection Procedure for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment-
There is a 3 tier selection process as below.
Tier I – Written Examination (Online)

Each question carries one mark, there is a penalty or negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer.
Tier II – Written Examination – Descriptive
Essay (30 marks) & English comprehension & précis writing (20 marks). Tier-II: Descriptive type paper of 50 marks: Essay (20 marks); English comprehension (10 marks) & Long answer type questions (2 questions of 10 marks each on Current Affairs, Economics, Socio-political issues etc. (20 marks).
Tier III- Interview
Interview will be of 100 marks. Candidates appearing in interviews may be subject to Psychometric/Aptitude Test which will be a part of interview. Based on the combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier- III/Interview, the candidates would be shortlisted for final selection.
Salary for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2025-
Starting basic salary will be Rs.44900 in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
(i) Special Security Allowance @ 20% of basic pay in addition to other Govt. allowances.
(ii) Cash compensation in lieu of duty performed on holidays subject to a ceiling of 30 days
