Indian Air Force Recruitment 2025 is out..!!! Online applications are invited from eligible unmarried men & women for the recruitment of officers in technical and non-technical branches.

Total No of Vacancies :- 284

Eligibility for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2025:-

Age Limit :-

Flying Branch – 20 to 24 years ( Candidate should be born between 2nd July 2002 to 1st July 2006 )

Ground Duty ( Technical & Non-Technical) –  20 to 26 years ( Candidate should be born between 2nd July 2000 to 1st July 2006 )

Educational Qualification-

Flying Branch  – Minimum of 60% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level & Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent OR BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

Ground Duty ( Technical) –BE/BTech in (Mechanical/Electronics/Aeronautical or related streams) from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent

Ground Duty ( Non Technical)- Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent

Selection Procedure for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2025

Selection process mainly consists of 3 stages

Stage I – AFCAT ( Air Force Common Admission Test) or special entry for NCC candidates

Stage II – Intelligence test, Picture perception test & Psychological tests.

Stage III – Medical Test & Physical Standard test

 

 

Training & Emoluments- 

Training will start from July 2026. Training period will vary from 52 weeks to 74 weeks depending on technical or non technical post. Candidates will be given stipend of Rs.56100 per month during last one year of training.  Different government allowances will be available after that as per government norms of 7th Pay Commission after being posted as Flying Officer.

Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021 notification is out…!! Indian air force invites online applications from unmarried male (indian/nepalese) candidates for selection test for intake 01/2022 to join as airmen in group ‘x’ trades (except education instructor trade) and group ‘y’ trades.

Eligibility for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021-

Age Limit :-

Upto 21 Years

Candidate born between 16 January 2001 and 29 December 2004 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification :-

  1. Airmen ( Group X) -10 + 2 pass with Physics, Mathematics & English minimum 50% marks aggregate and minimum 50% marks in English or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks aggregate and minimum 50% marks in English
  2. Airmen (Group ‘Y’ [Except IAF(S) and Musician Trades) – Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
  3. Airmen ( Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Trade Only) – Passed 10+2/Intermediate/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Selection Process for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021

Selection process consists of three phases.

Phase 1 will be online test , which will be tentatively conducted between 18th April to 22nd April 2021.  Please check the official notification for exam structure for Group X and Group Y.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified separately for Phase II online tests.

Candidates shortlisted further will need to go through subsequent Physical Fitness test & Medical Examination in phase III.

 

Salary for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021

During training, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month shall be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP), Group ‘X’ Pay (applicable for Group ‘X’ Trades only) and Dearness Allowance (DA) will be as follows:-

(a) Group ‘X’ Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade). Rs.33,100/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.

(b) Group ‘Y’ [Except IAF(S) and Musician Trades]. Rs. 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.
