IBPS, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, has invited application from eligible candidates for common recruitment process for the recruitment of Probationary Officers / Management Trainee in the participating government banks for 2019-20.

Eligibility Criteria :-

 

Educational Qualification – 

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online

 

Age limit – (As on 1st August 2019)

Minimum 20 Years , Maximum 30 Years

Age relaxation for SC/ST 5 Years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3  Years, PWD 10 Years, Ex-Servicemen 5 Years.

Online Examination (Preliminary) –12.10.2019, 13.10.2019, 19.10.2019 and 20.10.2019

Please keep following things ready while filling up the form

Photograph Scan Image :-

– Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.

–  Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)

– Size of the file should be between 20kb – 50kb.

– left thumb impression (If a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb. If both thumbs are missing, the impression of one of the fingers of the left hand starting from the forefinger should be taken).

– A hand written declaration (text given below) (In case of candidates who cannot write may get the text of declaration typed and put their left hand thumb impression below the typed declaration and upload the document as per specifications).

The text for the hand written declaration is as follows – “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

Signature Scan Imaging

– The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink Pen

Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)

Size of the file should be between 10kb – 20kb

Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted

Selection Procedure-

Candidates will be selected by IBPS through a selection process consisting of an online test (Preliminary and Main Examination) followed by Interview

Preliminary Examination

The structure of the Preliminary Examination (objective type) which will be conducted online is as follows:

There will be Negative Marking of 1/4th Or 0.25 Marks for each wrong answers.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

 Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.

Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Main examination may subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Nodal Bank. The intimation will be sent by email and sms to the registered email ID and mobile number. Interviews will be conducted at selected centers.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview is 40% for General and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. The weightage (ratio) of the Main examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates will be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination and Interview.

All candidates called for the Interview should produce originals of all prescribed documents mentioned in the call letter. Those candidates who fail to produce prescribed originals of documents will not be allowed to participate in the interview. The Bank takes no responsibility to receive/ collect any certificate/remittance/ document sent separately.

IBPS PO & Clerical Exams 2019-20

IBPS conducts exam every year for the recruitment of Officer & Clerical cadre staff in 19 government banks. IBPS has recently declared it’s tentative schedule for the year 2019-20. So, the students who are looking forward to preparation of banking sector exam can start planning their studies well in advance.

Eligibility 

  1. Age limit

for almost all the exams for the recruitment in government sector banks and insurance companies, age limit is very much same. for clerical cadre it is upto 28 years & for officer cadre it is  upto 30 years ( For general category candidates) , age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates & 5 years for SC / ST candidates is available. Relaxation in age is also available for PWD ( Handicapped ) and Ex-servicemen as per government norms.

2. Educational Qualification.

Educational qualification for all the below mentioned IBPS exams is any graduation,

Only for IBPS Specialist officer the desired qualification include BE or BTech ( IT / COMP / EXTC ) , LLB, BSc ( Agri / Hort / Forestry and agri related subjects ), MA ( Hindi) , CA, MBA ( Finance/HR/ MArketing) . but this exam also include one extra subject of technical knowledge of the related field.

IBPS RRB Officer & Clerk for Regional Rural Banks

The preliminary exams for RRB recruitment will take place in August 2019 and the mains exam dates are scheduled in September 2019.

IBPS Probationary Officer

The IBPS Probationary Officer ( PO ) notification should come tentatively in July or August 2019. The prelim exam dates are scheduled in the month of October 2019 & Mains Examination is scheduled in the last week of November 2019.

IBPS Clerk

You can expect the notification for clerical exam to come in the month of September – October. All the preliminary exam dates fall in the month of December 2019, mains exam is scheduled in 3rd week of January 2020.

IBPS SO

Preliminary exam for Specialist Officer is in December 2019 and Mains exam is scheduled in January 2020.

IBPS PO Call Letter Out

Hi students,

The IBPS PO preliminary exam 2017 call letter is released on their official website.

It will be available on the website from 21st September 2017 till 14th October 2017.

You will need your registration number and password i.e. your date of birth in dd-mm-yy format to download the call letter.

Don’t forget to carry a valid photo ID proof like passport, AADHAAR card, PAN card along with the call letter when you go for the exam.

PHASE I – Preliminary Exam

Exam will take place tentatively on 2nd/3rd/9th/10th December 2017

Negative Marking – 1/4th or 0.25 marks

There will be sectional cut offs and overall cutoffs , so scoring high in one or two particular sections will not be enough. You need to perform well in every section at least till the cut off level.

Preliminary exam is just elimination round to get selected further for mains. Only the people who clear Pre exam round will get shortlisted for the next round of mains exam. The list of shortlisted candidate will be available on the website, and only these candidates will get the call letter/admit card for the mains.

Scores obtained in preliminary exam will not be counted further.

PHASE II – Mains Examination

This year the format is changed compared to previous years main examination, it should not make a big difference to well prepared person as the change is not big.

Exam will be conducted on 21st January 2017.
