IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment 2023

IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment 2023 is announced for recruitment of different posts in government banks across India. Applications are invited from eligible candidates. The recruitment details are as below.

Post – Specialist Officer – Scale 1 (IT Officer/Agriculture Field Officer/Rajbhasha Adhikari/Law Officer/HR or Personnel Officer/Marketing Officer)

Eligibility for IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment 2023-

Age limit –

Minimum 20 Years , Maximum 30 Years

Age relaxation for SC/ST 5 Years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3  Years, PWD 10 Years, Ex-Servicemen 5 Years.

Educational Qualification-

  1. IT OFFICER (Scale – 1) 

4 year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR

Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR

Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level

  1. AGRICULTURE FIELD OFFICER (Scale – 1) 

4 year Degree (graduation) in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri. Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking/Agro-Forestry/Forestry/Agricultural Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Agriculture Business Management/Food Technology/ Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/Sericulture.

  1. RAJBHASHA ADHIKARI (Scale – 1) 

Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level

OR Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.

  1. LAW OFFICER (Scale – 1)

A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.

  1. HR & PERSONNEL OFFICER (Scale – 1) 

Graduate and Two Years Full time Post Graduate degree or Two Years Full time Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD / Social Work / Labour Law.

  1. MARKETING OFFICER (Scale – 1) 

Graduate and Two Years Full time MMS (Marketing)/ Two Years Full time MBA (Marketing)/ Two Years Full time PGDBA / PGDBM / PGPM / PGDM with specialization in Marketing

Selection process for IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment 2023:-

I. Preliminary Examination

The structure of the Examinations which will be conducted online are as follows:

For the post of Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari

There Will be Negative Marking of 1/4th or 0.25 marks for each wrong answer at both stages.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

For the Post of Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer

III. Interview:-

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main Examination  will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination  and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.

Eligibility for IBPS RRB Recruitment 2023

Age Limit –

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)  – 18 to 28 years

Officer Scale – I (Assistant Manager) – 18 to 30 years

Officer Scale – II (Manager) – 21 to 32 years

Officer Scale – III (Senior Manager) – 21 to 40 years

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Age relaxation for PWD and ex-servicemen candidates is available as per government norms,

Educational Qualification –

Officer Scale – III (Senior Manager) -Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. He/she should have minimum 5 years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.

Officer Scale – II General Banking Officer (Manager) – Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. He/she should have minimum 2 years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.

Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer) (Manager)-

  1. I.T Officer – Bachelors Degree from a recognized university in electronics/communication/computer science/information Technology with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate. One Year experience in relevant field.
  2. Chartered Accountant – Certified Associate from institute of chartered accountants of India. one year work experience as a chartered accountant.
  3. Law Officer – Degree form recognized university in law or its equivalent with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate .and also have two years work experience as a advocate or worked as a law officer in banks or financial institution.
  4. Agriculture Officer – Bachelor degree in agriculture/horticulture/dairy/animal husbandry/forestry/veterinary science/agriculture engineering from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Two year experience in relevant field.
  5. Treasury Manager – Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution

Officer Scale – I (Assistant Manager) – Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisci culture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy Proficiency in local Language. working knowledge of computers.

Office Assistant (Multipurpose) –  Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. proficiency in local language. also have working knowledge of computers.
