Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR is a lead Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR has facilities of Solid Propellant Production, a Rocket Motor Static Test Facility and Launch Complexes for variety of rockets, rocket tracking through sophisticated radar and optical tracking systems and real time data acquisition and processing facilities and other support services including logistics.

Eligibility Criteria :-

Educational Qualification –

Trade Apprentice:- Must have passed SSLC/SSC + ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant Trade from NCVT.

Technician Apprentice-DCCP + Vocational Apprentice-(Office Assistant + Comp. Science):- DCCP– First Class in relevant Trade from a recognized University / Institution. Vocational Apprentice- Vocational course involving two years after completion of SSC from recognized by the All India Council for Technical course.

Graduate Apprentice:- First Class in relevant Discipline from a recognized University

Vocational Apprentice:- Vocational course involving two years course after completion of Secondary stage of school education from recognized by the All India Council for Technical course.

Graduate Apprentice(Library Science):- Must have passed First class with 60% in Degree(B.Li.Sc) from recognized University/Institute.

Age Limit :- Age should not be less than 14 Years as on 28 July 2018.

Selection Procedure:-

The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to prepare the panel. Panel preparation purely based on the merit in the required qualification of the candidates. SDSC SHAR send call letter for joining to the empanelled candidates based on the monthly vacancies given by HRD.

At the time of joining, candidates will have to produce all relevant original documents for verification, including proof details furnished in their application submitted on-line. At the time of joining. If any information furnished on-line is found wrong or false, the candidate will not be allowed for joining.

The Educational Qualifications, which are required for the above vacancies of Apprenticeship should be possessed/ valid / issued as on the last date of receipt of applications through online i.e., on 28/07/2018

The candidates should ensure while applying that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects. In case it is found fault at any stage of selection process that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and/or does not comply with other requirements and/or he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature is liable to be rejected.

Selection procedure :-

The qualification prescribed and the benchmark are only the MINIMUM requirement and fulfilling the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Written Test. Initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test. Candidates whose applications are received against this advertisement will be short-listed based on the defined screening guidelines and those screened-in candidates alone will be called for Written Test. Candidates will be short-listed for skill test based on the performance in the written test and taking into consideration number of vacancies notified. Skill Test will be conducted after announcement of results of the Written Test, the schedule and venue of which will be notified.

Skill Test Methodology :-

Technician B ( Civil/Electrical) :- Skill Test will be purely go-no-go basis and marks obtained in the skill test shall not be considered for selection. The Skill Test shall be evaluated on a 100 points scale with minimum 60% for qualification. The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely on the scores obtained in the written test. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with minimum 60% marks, empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test, subject to number of vacancies notified.

‍Junior Hindi Translator :- Translation from Hindi to English and Vice Versa. Skill Test will be purely go-no-go basis and marks obtained in the skill test shall not be considered for selection.
