Marks Criteria for Qualification- Higher qualification , for example BE instead of Diploma will give more marks , as well as good academic record can give more marks.

Marks Criteria for Work Experience- Work experience of minimum one year Civil or Construction is required to get the marks in for work experience. Depending on work experience in Private Sector or Government Sector or specially in Railways, candidates will be alloted marks for work experience.

Contract Period:- 12 Months.

Salary/ Emoluments-

Monthly salary will be in the range of Rs. 25000 -30000 Per Month depending on the zone of posting.

Central Railway Mumbai Recruitment 2020 is out..!! ONLINE applications are invited from interested candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the designated trades at Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of Central Railway against 2562 slots. The recruitment will be done in Central Railway Mumbai jurisdiction of Mumbai, Pune, Bhusawal, Solapur & Nagpur division.

Age Limit :-

15 to 24 years

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates will be there.

10^th Pass with minimum 50% + ITI in following trades ( Fitter/Welder/Carpenter/Painter/Sewing Technology/Dress Making/Electrician / Machinist/Computer Operator & Programming Assistant/ Mechanic Diesel/Laboratory Assistant/Instrument Mechanic/Electronics Mechanic/ Mechanic Machine Tool maintenance)

Selection Procedure-

Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Stipend –

Selected candidates will get stipend at par with semi skilled workers of the particular state as per government norms .

Training Period-

Training period will be of one year.
