BARC Recruitment Notification 2019 is out for the post of Assistant Security Officer & Security Guard. ONLINE applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts proposed to be filled in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Trombay, Mumbai, Maharashtra and its facility at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility :-

Age Limit :-

18 to 27 years

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates will be there.

Educational Qualification :-

Assistant Security Officer (A)- Graduate from a recognized University + work experience

Security Guard – 10th standard Pass

Selection Procedure-

The selection process for both the posts will consist of Physical Test and Written Test.

Physical tests will consists of Long Run, 100 metre run, Sit ups, Push ups etc . For exact details, please refer the official notification.

Written test, will be of 75 marks and 90 minutes duration. the candidates will be tested for Comprehension, General awareness & Analytical & basic maths.

 

Salary/ Emoluments-

Assistant Security Officer (A)- Rs. 35400 + allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules.

Security Guard – Rs. 18000 + allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules.

Selection Procedure-

Stage I – Preliminary Test

50 multi choice questions of one hour duration consisting of Mathematics (20 Questions), Science (20 Questions) and General Awareness (10 Questions). Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Note: Candidates scoring less than 40% in General Category will be screened out. For reserved candidates the lowest cut-off will not be fixed below 30%. However, the number of candidates shortlisted for Stage-2 will depend upon the number of candidates qualifying in Stage-1 but will not exceed 4-5 times the number of vacancies.

Stage II – Advanced Test

Candidates qualifying Stage-1 Preliminary test will be eligible for Advanced Test comprising 50 objective type questions of two hour duration consisting of Mathematics (15 questions), Science (15 questions), General Awareness (10 questions) and Basic English (10 questions). Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Final Merit List shall be prepared based on the scores obtained in Stage-2.

Salary/ Emoluments-

Rs. 18000/-(Cell No.1 Level 1 of pay Matrix)+ allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules.

BARC Recruitment of Stenographer and Upper Divisional Clerk

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre(BARC) invites applications for the post of Upper Divisional Clerk & Stenographer from eligible candidates.

Post –

1. Upper Divisional Clerk –

No of Post – 47 , (Open -32/ ST-04/ OBC- 11)

Educational Qualification –

A Degree of recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Minimum speed of 30 words per minute in typewriting in English.

Knowledge of Computer Data Processing

2. Stenographer-

No of post – 13, (Open – 05/SC-01/ST-01/OBC-06)

Educational Qualification –

Matriculation or Equivalent.

Speed of 80 words per minute in English stenography.

Typing speed in English of 30 words per minute.

Selection Process –

1.Upper Divisional Clerk-

Level 1 Test – objective based test covering General English, General Knowledge, General intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude.

Level 2 Test – English Language and Comprehension (Descriptive written test)

Level 1 will be only qualifying exam / screening test to shortlist candidates for level 2 main exam.

Minimum qualifying standards for level 1 for general candidates will be 50% aggregate and for OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates will be 40% aggregate.

2. Stenographer Grade-III 

Level 1 Test – objective based test covering General English, General Knowledge, General intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude.

Level 2 Test – Stenographer Skill test.

The Criteria for empanelment will be based on the performance in Level 1 and Level 2. Minimum qualifying standards for level 1 for General Candidates will be 50% aggregate and for OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates will be 40%.

Salary / Emoluments-

Rs. 25000 plus usual allowance as admissible to Central Government Employees for Upper Divisional Clerk And Stenographer
