SSC CHSL Recruitment Notification 2021 is out…!!! The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of different posts for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India. The details of the recruitment process are as under:

Post :- Lower Division Clerk , Junior Secretarial Assistant, Postal Assistant , Sorting Assistant, Data entry operator.

Total No of Vacancies :- tentatively around 3500

 

Eligibility for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2021 :-

Educational Qualification :-

12th Standard Passed or Equivalent Examination from recognized Board or University.

(For Data Entry Operator in CAG ,12th Science with mathematics as one subject )

Age Limit :-

18 to 27 Years ( General )

18 to 30 Years (OBC )

18 to 32 Years (SC/ST)

10 Years Extension for PWD

Application Starts on :-   6th November 2020

Last Date of Application :-  15th December 2020

Tier I Exam Date :-    between 12th April to 27th April 2021

Selection Procedure for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2021-

Selection process includes 3 steps:-

• 1st Step: Tier-1 Written Exam (Objective Type) (200 Marks) (Online Mode)
• 2nd Step: Tier-2 Written Exam (Descriptive Type) (100 Marks) (Offline Mode)
• 3rd Step: Tier-3 Skill Test / Typing Test (candidates who qualify the tier-2 exam will be called for Skill Test / Typing Test)

Tier-1 – Online Test ( Objective Type )

 Tier-2 Examination:  ( Descriptive Paper )

• Exam is descriptive type and will be conducted offline (pen & paper mode).

• Candidates need to write essay / précis / letters / application writing etc.

• Exam carries 100 marks and exam duration will be 1 hour.

• Exam will have to be written either in Hindi or in English.

• Minimum Qualifying Marks would be 33 Percent.

 

 Tier-3    Skill Test / Typing Test:

•  Typing Test: Candidates, who are opting English typing, should have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those candidates who are opting Hindi typing should have typing speed of 30 words per minute. Typing test will be applicable for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, LDC and Court Clerk posts.

•  Skill Test: Data Entry Speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour on computer. Skill test will be applicable only for Data Entry Operator post

•   The Above Tests are Qualifying in Nature.

Part-4: General Awareness

• Questions are designed to test the candidate’s general awareness about the environment around and its application to society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events.

The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic, General Policy and scientific research.

Salary for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2021

Starting salary will be in the range of Rs.19900 to Rs.29,200 depending on the post you have applied for.
