Here is the new opportunity again for you by IBPS. IBPS Clerk notification is out today on the official IBPS Website. The details are as follows
Application Details-
Eligibility – Any Graduation / bachelor’s degree / Candidates appeared for final year exam in 2017, if they get their result before the last date of application i.e. 3rd October 2017, they can apply for the exam.
Age limit – 20 to 28 years ( for General Category)
20 to 31 years ( for OBC )
20 to 33 years ( for SC/ST )

Please keep following things ready while filling up the form
- Passport photograph scan– Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
- Size of file should be between 20kb–50kb
- Signature Scan– Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
- Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb.
Selection Procedure-
PHASE I – Preliminary Exam
Exam will take place tentatively on 2nd/3rd/9th/10th December 2017

Negative Marking – 1/4th or 0.25 marks
There will be sectional cut offs and overall cutoffs , so scoring high in one or two particular sections will not be enough. You need to perform well in every section at least till the cut off level.
Preliminary exam is just elimination round to get selected further for mains. Only the people who clear Pre exam round will get shortlisted for the next round of mains exam. The list of shortlisted candidate will be available on the website, and only these candidates will get the call letter/admit card for the mains.
Scores obtained in preliminary exam will not be counted further.

PHASE II – Mains Examination
This year the format is changed compared to previous years main examination, it should not make a big difference to well prepared person as the change is not big.
Exam will be conducted on 21st January 2017.

Preliminary exam date will be given in call letter or we can give exam on any date ?
I mean from 2, 3, 9, 10 Dec 2017 any date we can give exam or date mentioned in call letter. And if date mentioned in call letter at that time we are out of town then we can get another date or our exam will be cancelled.
Exam can be there on any of the above mentioned dates, you don’t have the choice to select the date
And you will come to know about it only when you receive the call letter, which you will get approximately 10-15 days before the exam day.

No, the upper age limit is 28 years for which the person should be born after 1st September 1989. So you missed out by few months
