Selection Process for NPCIL Trainee Recruitment 2023

Stage-1- Preliminary Test (1 Hour Duration)

Selection Procedure for Indian Post Recruitment 2023-

The candidates will be selected purely on the basis of their marks obtained in 10th Standard certificate. Candidates with higher qualification will not have any extra weightage in merit list.

Job Responsibilities of Dak Sevak-

The Job Profile of Dak Sevaks will include all functions of viz sale of stamps and stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail and any other duties assigned by Postmaster/Sub Postmaster including IPPB work in the Departmental Post Offices/RMS. However, the work performed for IPPB will not be included in calculation of TRCA, since the same is being done on incentive basis.He may also have to assist Post Masters/Sub Postmasters in managing the smooth
functioning of Departmental Post Offices and do marketing, business procurement or any other work assigned by the Post Master or IPO/ASPO/SPOs/SSPOs/SRM/SSRM and other Supervising authorities. In Railway Mail Services (RMS), GDS has to handle the work related to RMS, like, closing/opening of bags, transport of bags from one place to other manually and any other works allotted by the RMS authorities.

Selection Procedure for SSC MTS Recruitment 2023-

Selection process includes 3 steps:-

  • 1st Step: Tier-1 Written Exam (Objective Type) (100 Marks) (Online Mode)
  • 2nd Step: Tier-2 Written Exam (Descriptive Type) (50 Marks) (Offline Mode)

  • Exam carries 50 marks and exam duration will be 30 hour. Tier 2 is qualifying in nature.

 

  Tier-1 Exam Syllabus

Part-1: General Intelligence & Reasoning

  • It would include questions of non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

Part 2 :-English Language

  • Candidates’ understanding of the basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. and writing ability would be tested.

Part-3: Numerical Aptitude

  • This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc

 

Part-4: General Awareness

  • Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Selection Process

The selection process consists two rounds. Preliminary Exam followed by Mains Exam.

Preliminary Examination will be of 100 marks and it’s common for all the posts. Only the candidates who clear prelims will be able to attend mains exam.

Mains Examination will be of 400 / 200 marks, and it will be different for different posts.

Skill Test- Typing test will be conducted only for the candidates who are applying for the post of Tax Supervisor or Clerk-Typist. Skill test will be qualifying in nature and candidate will be given 10 minutes for typing test.

On-line Test for Agents & Employee Category:-

Selection of Apprentice Development Officer from Agents & Employee Category will be done through single phase examination i.e. Main Examination.

Main Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. Main examination will consist of objective tests for 150 marks. For details of mains exam for agents please check the official notification.

 

Candidate MUST obtain minimum qualifying marks in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the examinations (Preliminary and Main) and the interview. The minimum marks to be obtained in each paper and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC of India.

Phase-III – Interview:

Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and marks obtained in Main Examination + marks obtained in Interview will be considered for final merit listing of candidates. Commensurate to the number of vacancies, LIC reserves the right to fix the eligibility standards in order to restrict the candidates to be called for interview and also fix the minimum marks to qualify in the interview. Maximum Interview marks are 37.

 

JOB REQUIREMENT:

It is primarily a sales supervision job. The selected candidates will be required to sponsor suitable persons to be appointed as Life Insurance Agents, train them properly, and help the recruited agents to sell life insurance to maximum number of persons. They will also be required to give prompt after sales service to policyholders. For this purpose considerable movement including tours covering the entire area allotted to them are involved.

The recruitment as Apprentice Development Officers is for Urban and Rural Areas and the selected candidates will have to work in these areas. It is, however, likely that some of the selected candidates may be posted in the jurisdiction of nearby Divisional Office/s within the jurisdiction of the Zone.

 

STIPEND & REMUNERATION for LIC ADO Recruitment 2023:

During the apprentice period, the candidate selected as Apprentice Development Officer will be paid a fixed amount as stipend per month as per rules of the Corporation. An Apprentice Development Officer other than an Employee Apprentice shall be paid equal to the minimum of the basic pay and the dearness allowance thereon on the scale of pay applicable to Development Officers as on the date of commencement of the apprenticeship. At present the amount of stipend is about ₹.51500/- per month, except in case of candidates selected from LIC Employees category.

 

Salary / Emoluments-

On appointment as a Probationary Development Officer, basic pay of ₹ 35650/- per month (except for Employee Category candidates). Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale, inclusive of House Rent Allowance& City Compensatory Allowance wherever admissible depending upon the classification of city, will be approximately ₹56000/- in ‘A’ Class City. Other benefits include Gratuity, Defined Contributory Pension Scheme, LTC, Medical Benefit, Group Insurance, Group Personal Accident Insurance, vehicle advance (2-wheeler/4-wheeler), reimbursement towards cost of Brief Case/leather bag, mobile handset, supply of dailies as per rules and on confirmation in service, attractive performance linked Incentives.

 

APPRENTICESHIP PERIOD:

An Apprentice Development Officer will have to undergo Theoretical & Field Sales Training. The period of apprenticeship shall commence from the date of commencement of the training.

 

PROBATION:

An Apprentice Development Officer, who successfully completes the apprenticeship and, in opinion of the Recruiting Authority, is otherwise suitable for appointment to the service of the Corporation may be appointed as a Development Officer and placed on probation. The period of probation shall be for one year which may be extended upto two years.

Phase-II : Main Examination: Main examination will consist of objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks. Both the objective and descriptive tests will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Candidates will have to answer descriptive test by typing on the computer. Descriptive test will be administered immediately after the completion of the objective test.

 

Phase-III: Interview Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and marks obtained in Main Examination + marks obtained in Interview will be considered for final merit listing of candidates.

Salary for LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 

Basic pay of Rs. 53600/- per month Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale, inclusive of House Rent Allowance & City Compensatory Allowance wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city, will be approximately Rs. 92870/- per month in ‘A’ Class city. Other benefits and allowances and increments will be there as per government norms.

Probation:  A candidate after appointment as Assistant Administrative Officer shall be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining. This period may be extended upto two years.

Guarantee Bond: Before joining as a Probationer, candidates will be required to give an undertaking to serve LIC for a minimum period of four years from the date of joining (including probationary period) failing which, he/she or his /her heirs, executors, administrators will be liable to pay liquidated damages of Rs.500,000/-only (Rupees Two Lakhs only) or the sum of amount the Executive Director (Personnel) may prescribe from time to time. The candidate will have to submit Deed of Indemnity at his/her cost, duly stamped, the stamp value of which will be as applicable to the State in which the deed is executed by the candidate.
