Selection Process for EPFO Recruitment 2023 –

Selection  will be done through a two tiered process and subsequent Prerecruitment Medical examination.

Phase-I:  Examination: Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. The test will be different for Social Security assistant and Stenographer posts, and it will primarily focus on General Awareness, English Language and General Aptitude and Computer Awareness.

 

Phase II -Computer Skill Test – Candidates will be required to appear for the Skill Test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work. There will be different Skill test for Social Security Assistant and Stenographer posts. Please refer to the notification for more details.

 

Salary  for EPFO Recruitment 2023 –

Level-4 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) (Gr. ’C’) with Entry Pay  Rs 25,500/- for Stenographer and Rs.29,200 for Social Security Assistant under 7thPay Commission). In addition to Pay they will also be eligible allowances as per rules in force from time to time.

Selection Process for YIL Apprentice Recruitment 2023

Selection will be done on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI category. The merit list for NON-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise on the basis of overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik or matriculation (Class X standard or equivalent), aggregate in all subjects or best of 5 subjects as per criteria of that 10th Board, as entered by the candidate in the online application form. Candidate shall submit original marksheet of Madhyamik Board (Class X std. or equivalent). For NON-ITI category, a factory-wise
common merit list will be prepared and the trades will be allotted by each factory on Merit-cumchoice basis after selection.

Selection Process for BEL Recruitment 2023

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria w.r.t. qualification and experience will be allotted weightage as follows:

Aggregate Marks secured in BE/BTech/BSc Engg (4 Year Course) = 75%

Relevant Post Qualification experience:2.5 marks will be allocated for minimum experience stipulated for the post. 1.25 marks will be allocated for every additional experience of 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks. = 10%

Interview for shortlisted candidates(Video- based) = 15%

  1. Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to percentage of marks as per the guidelines provided by their University.
  2. Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on their aggregate marks obtained in the degree in required qualification and number of years of experience as indicated above in the ratio of 1:5. Only those candidates shortlisted will be called for the interview.

Selection process includes 3 steps:-

there will be three different exams for different posts based on the qualification requirments of SSC , HSC or Gradaution

Part-1: General Intelligence & Reasoning

  • It would include questions of non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

Part 2 :-English Language

  • Candidates’ understanding of the basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. and writing ability would be tested.

Part-3: Numerical Aptitude

  • This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc

 

Part-4: General Awareness

  • Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Selection Procedure-

Selection process consists of a written test followed by interview. A pen & paper based Recruitment Test (RT) to short-list the candidates for Interview for recruitment to the posts of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers shall be conducted by the Commission.

Scheme and syllabus for the Recruitment Test (RT) for the posts of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers is as under:-

I. Scheme of the RT:

(i) The test will be of two hours duration

(ii) All questions will carry equal marks.

(iii) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.

(iv) The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English.

(v) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

II.Syllabus of the RT:

The syllabus of the Test broadly comprises the following topics :-

i) General English- To evaluate candidate’s understanding of English language & workman – like use of words.

ii) Indian Freedom Struggle.

iii) Current Events and Developmental Issues.

iv) Indian Polity & Economy.

v) General Accounting Principles.

vi) Industrial Relations & Labour Laws.

vii) General Science & knowledge of Computer applications.

viii) General Mental Ability & Quantitative Aptitude.

ix) Social Security in India.

III. Weightage:-

Recruitment Test (RT) and Interview carry weightage in the ratio of 75:25 for the candidates shortlisted based on Recruitment Test (RT) and qualify in the interview.

Probation Period:-

The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two year from the date of joining.

Duties:

Duties of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer inter alia are to look after the work of Enforcement, Recovery, Accounts, Administration Cash, Legal, Pension and Computer which includes the statutory and administrative functions like conducting inquiry settlement of claims, general administration; maintenance of Cash Book/ administration; maintenance of Cash Book/Reconciliation of Bank Statements; MIS returns etc.

After joining the Bank’s services as Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’, the extant Basic Pay currently applicable to Assistant Managers in Grade A is Rs.36,000/- per month in the pay scale of 36000-1490(7)-46430-1740(2)–49910–1990(7)-63840(17 years). Candidates should note that the pay scales, allowances, reimbursements, perquisites and other terms subsisting at the time of joining and as may be modified / amended / revised from time to time would be applicable as per rules in force from time to time.
