Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only. The recruitment details are as below.

Eligibility Criteria for SBI Clerical Recruitment 2022 :-

Educational Qualification –

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Final year appearing students can also apply.

 Age limit –

20 to 28 years ( for General Category)
20 to 31 years ( for OBC )
20 to 33 years  ( for SC/ST )

Age relaxation for PWD and Ex-servicemen candidates will be as per government norms.

Preliminary Exam – Tentatively in the month of November 2022

Please keep following things ready while filling up the form

1. Passport photograph scan– Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred). Size of file should be between 20kb–50kb
2. Signature Scan– Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb.
3. Handwritten Declaration – The text for the hand-written declaration is as follows:
   “I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine”
4. Left Thumb Impression: If a candidate is not having left thumb, the/she may use his /her right thumb for applying)

 

Selection Procedure for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2022-

PHASE I – Preliminary Exam

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject as well as for aggregate (overall) are prescribed. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies. subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.

Scores obtained in preliminary exam will not be counted further.

PHASE II – Mains Examination

Test of specified opted local language:-

The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State (mentioned in the under given vacancy table against each state/UT). The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify the language test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

 

Salary/Emoluments for SBI Clerical Recruitment 2022- 

The starting Basic Pay is Rs. 19900. The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.29,000/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associate.
