Selection Procedure-

The ‘Online’ applications will be sorted out Centre wise. The conduct of test is planned during the month of Feb-Mar 2020. The Selection procedure is as follows:-

(a) Short-listing criteria will be based on higher percentage of marks for a particular examination Centre.

(b) The qualifying cut off percentage (%) of a particular Centre may be increased if more number of applications with higher percentage is received.

(c) The written examination will be of objective type, which will generally cover subjects such as Maths, Physics, Basic Chemistry, Knowledge of English upto 12th standard, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning etc.

(d) Those who qualify written examination will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and the testing procedure will take about 2 days. Physically Challenged candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination.

(e) Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

PFT will be conducted for all those who qualify the written tests. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. All candidates are advised to be in possession of sport rig (Shoe, T-shirt, Trouser etc). The PFT consists of:-

(i) 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.

(ii) 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak).

(iii) 10 Push up.

(f) Based on the performance in the written examination, candidates will be shortlisted for initial recruitment medical examination (Preliminary) in a ratio as may be decided by the Indian Coast Guard.

(g) The select list will be prepared from the candidates who qualify in all the tests depending upon the available vacancies. The Zone wise select list of candidates will be displayed in the Indian Coast Guard Website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in in the month of Jul 2020. Mere declaration of fit in initial medical examination does not indicate selection of the candidate for the final medical at INS Chilka.

 

Training

The basic training will commence in Aug 2020 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade. Branch/trade will be allocated as per the requirement of service and performance during basic training. Naviks are liable to be  discharged as UNSUITABLE due to unsatisfactory performance at any time during the training.

 

Salary/ Emoluments-

On joining Indian Coast Guard, you will be placed in Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.

 

Promotion and Perquisites

(a) Promotion prospects exist upto the rank of Pradhan Adhikari with pay scale Rs. 47600/- (Pay Level 8) with Dearness Allowance. Promotion to the Officer cadre is subject to suitability and performance.

Selection Procedure for Powergrid Assistant Engineer Post

The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the relevant paper of GATE 2019, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2019.

Salary/ Emoluments for Powergrid Assistant Engineer Post

During the one-year training period., candidates will be paid a stipend in the form of Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- along with IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during training period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineers in E2 scale – Rs. 50,000/- 3%- 1, 60,000/- (IDA).

Service Agreement Bond-

The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond to successfully complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years. The amount of the bond is INR 5,00,000/- plus applicable taxes for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and INR 2,50,000/- plus applicable taxes for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Selection Procedure for RINL Management Trainee post 

The selection process will consist of Online Test followed by Personal Interview. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Online Examination, information of which will be provided in the Admit card. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Online Test will be intimated to appear for Personal Interview.

1. Online Test:-

Online test will comprise of General Awareness, Numerical Ability/Aptitude, General English, Data-Interpretation, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning and separate paper for each discipline. Each segment (Aptitude & Technical) shall consists of 100 questions with one marks for every right answer. No negative marks for giving wrong answer. Selection Procedure-

Selection process consists of a written test followed by interview. A pen & paper based Recruitment Test (RT) to short-list the candidates for Interview for recruitment to the posts of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers shall be conducted by the Commission on 04.10.2020.

Scheme and syllabus for the Recruitment Test (RT) for the posts of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers is as under:-

I. Scheme of the RT:

(i) The test will be of two hours duration

(ii) All questions will carry equal marks.

(iii) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.

(iv) The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English.

II.Syllabus of the RT:

The syllabus of the Test broadly comprises the following topics :-

The selection will be in three Phases as furnished below:

Phase I – Preliminary Examination

RDBS, Rajbhasha and Legal Service

Objective Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)

Duration: 120 Minutes Composite Time – Total Marks : 200

i) Test of Reasoning – 20 marks

ii) English Language – 40 marks

iii) Computer Knowledge –20 marks

iv) General Awareness – 20 marks

v) Quantitative Aptitude – 20 marks

vi) Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India) – 40 marks

vii) Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) – 40 marks

Phase II – Mains Examination

Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern.

Paper-I- General English:

(Descriptive – writing skills – online through key board). The paper will have descriptive questions.

Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks

The analytical and drafting abilities of the candidate shall be assessed through this Descriptive Paper on General English comprising essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing & letter writing. (Common for Grade ‘A’ – RDBS, Rajbhasha and Legal)

Paper–II (MCQ):

  1. I) For Grade A (RDBS): i) General Discipline as at (i) in Table 1 – Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) ii) Specialized Discipline as at (ii) to (xv) in Table 1 – : Paper on related discipline

Duration: 1 ½ hrs. – 100 Marks

  1. II) For Grade A Rajbhasha: The Paper will have multiple choice questions.

Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks

Proficiency in Hindi including Translation from English to Hindi and Vice versa. The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall also be assessed from the descriptive paper.

III) For Grade A (Legal Services): The paper will have multiple choice questions.

Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks.

The paper will be based on proficiency in interpreting various Laws viz., Banking, Negotiable Instruments, Company, Industrial and Cooperative Laws, Cyber laws, Commerce/Property transactions, Rural non-life insurance, direct financing, staff matters and good experience in drafting various types of documents.

Phase III – Interview

Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II – Main Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview.

Note- The Preliminary Examination is only qualifying in nature and is meant to serve as a screening test. Candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high as decided by NABARD, shall be called for appearing at the Main Examination. The calling ratio for Main Exam shall be 1:25. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidate. For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty in Phase-I and Phase-II, both. Salary/ Emoluments for NABARD Assistant Manager post

Selection Procedure for Western Railway Mumbai Apprentice Post 

Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Merit list will be declared on 13th February 2020, Document verification of shortlisted candidates will take place on 28th February onwards and the training will start in April 2020.

Stipend for Western Railway Mumbai Apprentice Post 

Selected candidates will get stipend at par with semi skilled workers of the particular state as per government norms .

 

Training Period-

Training period will be of one year.
