Educational Qualification for Indian Army Recruitment:-

Educational Qualification for SSC(Tech)(Men and Women). Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing by 01 Oct 2020 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Such candidates will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA) as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid.

Educational Qualification for Widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness

Selection Procedure for Indian Army Recruitment–

The selection procedure is as follows:-

(a) Shortlisting of Applications. Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cutoff percentage of marks for each Engineering discipline/stream (cumulatively obtained upto 6th semester for Engg Degree course/ 2nd semester for M Sc. Computer Science/ 8th semester for Architecture) without assigning any reason. After shortlisting of applications, the centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their email. After allotment of Selection Centre, candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first come first serve basis initially. Thereafter, it will be allotted by the Selection Centres.

(b) Only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cut off percentage will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres viz. Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer. Call Up letter for SSB interview will be issued by respective Selection Centres through candidate’s registered e-mail id and SMS only. Allotment of Selection Centre is at the discretion of Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of MoD (Army) and NO request for changes will be entertained in this regard.

(c) Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage-1 will go to Stage-2. Those who fail in Stage-1 will be returned on the same day. Duration of SSB interviews is five days, and details of the same are available on official website of Directorate General of Recruiting ie. www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. This will be followed by a medical examination for the candidates who get recommended after Stage-2.

(d) Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be issued Joining Letter for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

Salary/ Emoluments for Indian Army Recruitment–

Stipend to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service academy i.e. during training period at OTA will be Rs 56,100/-p.m.* (Starting pay in Level 10). On successful commissioning, the pay in the Pay Matrix of the Officer Commissioned shall be fixed in first Cell of Level 10 , along with all different government allowances as per norms.

Selection Procedure-

The ‘Online’ applications will be sorted out Centre wise. The conduct of test is planned during the month of Feb-Mar 2020. The Selection procedure is as follows:-

(a) Short-listing criteria will be based on higher percentage of marks for a particular examination Centre.

(b) The qualifying cut off percentage (%) of a particular Centre may be increased if more number of applications with higher percentage is received.

(c) The written examination will be of objective type, which will generally cover subjects such as Maths, Physics, Basic Chemistry, Knowledge of English upto 12th standard, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning etc.

(d) Those who qualify written examination will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and the testing procedure will take about 2 days. Physically Challenged candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination.

(e) Physical Fitness Test (PFT)–

PFT will be conducted for all those who qualify the written tests. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. All candidates are advised to be in possession of sport rig (Shoe, T-shirt, Trouser etc). The PFT consists of:-

(i) 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.

(ii) 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak).

(iii) 10 Push up.

(f) Based on the performance in the written examination, candidates will be shortlisted for initial recruitment medical examination (Preliminary) in a ratio as may be decided by the Indian Coast Guard.

(g) The select list will be prepared from the candidates who qualify in all the tests depending upon the available vacancies. The Zone wise select list of candidates will be displayed in the Indian Coast Guard Website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in in the month of Jul 2020. Mere declaration of fit in initial medical examination does not indicate selection of the candidate for the final medical at INS Chilka.

 

Training–

The basic training will commence in Aug 2020 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade. Branch/trade will be allocated as per the requirement of service and performance during basic training. Naviks are liable to be  discharged as UNSUITABLE due to unsatisfactory performance at any time during the training.

 

Salary/ Emoluments-

On joining Indian Coast Guard, you will be placed in Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.

 

Promotion and Perquisites–

(a) Promotion prospects exist upto the rank of Pradhan Adhikari with pay scale Rs. 47600/- (Pay Level 8) with Dearness Allowance. Promotion to the Officer cadre is subject to suitability and performance.

Selection Procedure for RINL Management Trainee post –

The selection process will consist of Online Test followed by Personal Interview. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Online Examination, information of which will be provided in the Admit card. 1. Online Test:-

Selection Procedure-

Selection process consists of a written test followed by interview. A pen & paper based Recruitment Test (RT) to short-list the candidates for Interview for recruitment to the posts of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers shall be conducted by the Commission on 04.10.2020.

Scheme and syllabus for the Recruitment Test (RT) for the posts of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers is as under:-

I. Scheme of the RT:

(i) The test will be of two hours duration

(ii) All questions will carry equal marks.

(iii) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.

(iv) The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English.

(v) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.

II.Syllabus of the RT:

The syllabus of the Test broadly comprises the following topics :-

v) General Accounting Principles.

III. Weightage:-

Duties:–

(B) Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RAJBHASHA)-

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate. Candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/versa. OR Post Graduate Degree from a recognised university in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate and English as a compulsory/elective subject at Graduation level OR Post Graduate Degree in English with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) and Hindi as a main subject at Graduation level. (C) Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (LEGAL SERVICE)

Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by Bar council of India for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST applicants – 45%) or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years OR LLM Degree with a minimum of 45% (SC/ST applicants – 40%) or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years.

Selection Procedure for NABARD Assistant Manager post –

The selection will be in three Phases as furnished below:

Phase I – Preliminary Examination

RDBS, Rajbhasha and Legal Service

Objective Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)

Duration: 120 Minutes Composite Time – Total Marks : 200

i) Test of Reasoning – 20 marks

ii) English Language – 40 marks

iii) Computer Knowledge –20 marks

iv) General Awareness – 20 marks

v) Quantitative Aptitude – 20 marks

vi) Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India) – 40 marks

vii) Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) – 40 marks

Phase II – Mains Examination

Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern.

Paper-I- General English:

(Descriptive – writing skills – online through key board). The paper will have descriptive questions.

Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks

The analytical and drafting abilities of the candidate shall be assessed through this Descriptive Paper on General English comprising essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing & letter writing. (Common for Grade ‘A’ – RDBS, Rajbhasha and Legal)

Paper–II (MCQ):

  1. I) For Grade A (RDBS): i) General Discipline as at (i) in Table 1 – Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) ii) Specialized Discipline as at (ii) to (xv) in Table 1 – : Paper on related discipline

Duration: 1 ½ hrs. – 100 Marks

  1. II) For Grade A Rajbhasha: The Paper will have multiple choice questions.

Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks

Proficiency in Hindi including Translation from English to Hindi and Vice versa. The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall also be assessed from the descriptive paper.

III) For Grade A (Legal Services): The paper will have multiple choice questions.

Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks.

The paper will be based on proficiency in interpreting various Laws viz., Banking, Negotiable Instruments, Company, Industrial and Cooperative Laws, Cyber laws, Commerce/Property transactions, Rural non-life insurance, direct financing, staff matters and good experience in drafting various types of documents.

Phase III – Interview

Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II – Main Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview.

Note- The Preliminary Examination is only qualifying in nature and is meant to serve as a screening test. Candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high as decided by NABARD, shall be called for appearing at the Main Examination. The calling ratio for Main Exam shall be 1:25. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidate. For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty in Phase-I and Phase-II, both. Cut-offs in Phase-I and Phase-II may be applied in two stages: (i) On scores in individual tests, (ii) On Total Score Since the vacancies are earmarked discipline-wise, merit list of candidates for each stage will be prepared discipline-wise.

Interview – 25 Marks.

 

Salary/ Emoluments for NABARD Assistant Manager post –

Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.28150/- p.m. They will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 62,600/-.
