How To Write a CV

Let’s Learn how to write a CV, an effective CV in 2021 in this blog.  In our previous blog we discussed about what exactly is cover letter, what is the importance of cover letter in getting the call for the interview and how to exactly write the cover letter. If you haven’t gone through it, we recommend you to really go through our blog on how to write the cover letter.

In this blog we are going to discuss about Curriculum Vitae  or what we normally call as CV. Gone are the days of writing Bio-Data. You can say CV is more of an advanced form of Bio-data with more relevant information in right chronological order. So, if you are a fresher or experienced, having a right CV with relevant content, which doesn’t look like a copy paste is very important.

The term CV has been in frequent use for almost 2 decades in India, but still many people don’t know how to make a CV, and almost more than 80% people simply copy the content from some friends or relative’s CV  with them or with the cyber café administrator.

Secondly, there is huge difference between CV and Resume, and many people feel it’s one and the same thing, but, it is not. And depending on the job profile you are applying for and your academic credential or work experience, you should have both CV and Resume ready with you. And it should be updated time to time with increasing work experience as well as with varying job profile.

To begin with, we recommend you to watch our video first to understand the difference between CV & Resume below.
