Selection Procedure ECIL Graduate Engineer Recruitment 2025-

1. The selection methodology will comprise of two stage selection process through Computer Based
Test (CBT) and Personal Interview.

CBT shall be of Multiple Choice Type. The Computer Based test is for a duration of 120 Minutes for 100 Questions (20 minutes per hour extra for PWD candidates as per Govt. Guidelines). Each Question will carry 1 mark. Every wrong answer will attract 0.25 negative marks. The Question Paper will be in English & Hindi only. However, in case of any error/variation in Hindi, the English version of the question shall be valid. The syllabus for the computer based test will primarily focus on objective type questions derived
from the core engineering subjects that candidates have studied as part of their respective engineering disciplines or specializations.

2. The weightage for CBT & Personal interview is 85:15 respectively. The candidate has to secure minimum 50% marks in each factor of selection and 60% overall to be considered for selection of candidates.
3. However, SC/ST candidates shall be allowed relaxation in the standards of performance over those applicable to unreserved candidates. In case of OBCs, where suitable candidates are not available as per the standard norms prescribed, such standards may be relaxed. The decision regarding the extent of relaxation shall however, be exercised by ECIL will be final and binding on the candidates.
4. All eligible candidates shall be called for CBT however, for Personal interview, candidates shall be called in the ratio of 1:4 based on the performance in CBT. In case of more than one candidate secured equal Marks in CBT, then the candidate who has scored higher marks in the Eligible Qualification will be called for Interview.

 

Salary-

The selected candidates will be a Trainee Officer in the pay scale of ₹ 40,000-1,40,000 with allowances admissible from time to time and will be absorbed as Officer on successful completion of one year as Trainee in the same pay scale of ₹ 40,000-1,40,000 (3% annual increment). They are also entitled for DA, HRA, Fringe benefits, Provident Fund, leave etc. as per rules of the Company from time to time.

Bond-

The selected candidates are required to execute a Surety & Indemnity Bond on separate nonjudicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- each to serve the Company for a period of 4 years (1 year as Trainee + 3 years as Engineer). The amount payable for breach of contract is Rupees Four Lakhs only.

Selection Procedure for HCL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2025-

The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit based on their marks obtained in ITI & 10th. A weightage of 30% to marks scored in relevant trade in ITI & a weightage of 70% shall be given to marks scored in 10th board. In case where no ITI is required [Like in the trades of Mate (Mines) & Blaster (Mines)], 100% weightage will be given to marks scored in 10th Board. Additional 10 bonus marks will be given to dependants of existing employees of HCL/KCC while deciding merit. The selection process consists of Online Written Test, Screening and Interview.
Online Written Test:
Online written test will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
(i) Objective Test: The duration of objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of total 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

Interview:

Selection will be made from the top ranked candidates in merit list prepared on State wise and Category wise.

Scheme of Examination :

  1. The online exam can be given in English , Hindi and State Local language (e.g. Marathi in Maharashtra) .
  2. Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th standard mark sheet/ certificate indicating the official language as one of the subjects will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others (qualified for selection and waitlist), Language Proficiency Test will be conducted at respective Regional Offices after provisional selection but before issue of offer letter. Candidates not found to be proficient in official local language would be disqualified.
  3. LPT will be of Qualifying Type. The candidates provisionally selected/waitlisted from the On-line Test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT).
  4. LPT will be conducted in the Official Language of the State (Regional Office) concerned (Annex-II). Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.
  5. Final selection will be on the basis of candidate’s performance in the online Main examination in the order of merit and biometric verification. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. Final Select list of the candidates who have provisionally qualified for selection will be made available on the Bank’s website. Appointment is subject to Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application.

 

Salary / Emoluments –

Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 19500/- p.m.,all the permissible allowances will be given additionally.

 

Probation Period-

Initial appointment of a selected applicant will be on probation for a period of 06 months, which may, at the Bank’s discretion, be extended for a further maximum period of 06 months.
