Indian Navy Matric Recruit ( MR) recruitment notification 2019 is out..!! Applications are invited from eligible male candidates before 28th November. The recruitment details are as follows.

About this Job

Chef (MR)
You will be required to prepare food as per menu(vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products), and accounting of ration. In addition, you will also be trained in fire arms and will be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.

Steward (MR)
You would be required to serve food in the officers messes, as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu etc. In addition, you will also be trained in fire arms and will be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.

Sanitary Hygienist (MR)
They will be required to maintain hygiene in wash-rooms and other areas. In addition, you will also be trained in fire arms and will be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation
Eligibility –
Age Limit – 17 to 20 years ( Candidate should be born between 1st October 2000 to 30th September 2003)
Educational Qualification– SSC/ 10th Pass from any recognised board

Note – Candidate needs to register first to create login, and later on you can apply to posts depending on your eligibility.
Selection Process–
- Computer Based Test ( CBT) – Selection Process for all above posts will include Computer Based Test of 50 marks for the duration of 30 minutes. The test will have subjects like Maths, Physics, English and General Awareness. One mark for each correct answer and penalty of 1/3rd mark is given for each wrong answer.
- Physical Fitness Test ( PFT ). – PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. The results of the Written Test are generally declared on the same day. Those who qualify Written Test are permitted to undergo PFT and only those who qualify PFT undergo Medical Examination.
- Medical Standards- Minimum height should be 157cm and weight & chest should be proportionate.

Training & Advancement
Candidates selected will undergo 14 weeks Basic Training at INS Chilka followed by Professional training in the allotted trade in various Naval Training Establishments. Branch/ Trade will be allocated as per the requirement of Service.
Education Opportunities
You may undergo various professional courses as per service requirement and certificates of equivalent qualifications from various Universities are being awarded on successful completion of courses. You will get “Graduation Equivalent Certificate” on retirement after completion of 15 years of service.
Stipend and salary –
There will be stipend of Rs.14600 per month for all the posts during training period. After the completion of the training period the pay will be in the range of Rs.60000 and more depending on different posts mentioned above.
