ESIC, EMPLOYEES’ STATE INSURANCE CORPORATION has invited applications for different zones all over India. Out of which ESIC Maharashtra has total 350 vacancies for the post of Stenographer & Upper Divisional Clerk. The details are as follows.
Post – Stenographer & Upper Divisional Clerk ( UDC)
No of Vacancies – 350
Eligibility-
Age limit –
18 to 27 years
3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates will be there. (Age relaxation for PWD or Ex-servicemen will be there as per government norms)
Educational Qualification
STENOGRAPHER:
- Higher Secondary Pass (pass in 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board).
- A Speed of 80 words per minute in stenography in English/Hindi.
- Working knowledge of Computer including use of Office Suites and databases.
UDC:
- A degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and databases

Please keep following things ready while filling up the form
- Photograph Scan Image :-
– Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.
– Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
– Size of the file should be between 20kb – 50kb.
- Signature Scan Imaging
– The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink Pen
Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
Size of the file should be between 10kb – 20kb
- left thumb impression (If a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb. If both thumbs are missing, the impression of one of the fingers of the left hand starting from the forefinger should be taken).
- A hand written declaration (text given below) (Hand written declaration should not be written in CAPITAL LETTERS.).
The text for the hand written declaration is as follows – “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
Selection procedure –
A. For STENOGRAPHER –
Phase I – Main Examination

Note: The marks obtained in Phase – I will be considered for final selection. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I.
Phase II – Computer Skill Test & Stenography Test (Both Qualifying in Nature)
(a) Computer Skill Test (Qualifying in nature) comprising of following three parts: –

(b) Stenography Test – Stenography Test for 10 minutes with a speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi and transcription of the same on computer for one hour. VH candidate will be required to transcribe the matter in 85 minutes for English Shorthand or in 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand for the post of Stenographer.
B. For UPPER DIVISIONAL CLERK
Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Qualifying in Nature)

Salary /SCALE OF PAY –
Steno & UDC Revised pay as per 7th Central Pay Commission for the post is Level- 4 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) with Entry Pay Rs. 25500/-, replaced against Pay Band Rs. 5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- of 6th Central Pay Commission. In addition to Pay they will also be eligible for DA, HRA and Transport Allowance and other allowances as per rules in force from time to time.

Sir I am pursuing bachelor tybms ( finance ) , i am appearing semester 6 now. I done mscit with 80 marks for which post i am eligible for ? My typing speed is slow .
you can apply for stenographer post on the basis of HSC / 12th standard qualification as your graduation is not yet complete.
